Financial News, the leading weekly newspaper for the European securities and investment banking and asset management industri, today announced the winner of its second Awards of Excellence in Institutional Asset Management.
A total of nineteen awards were presented. The awards were decided by a panel of more than 50 investment consultants and industry figures from across Europe.
AP3’s CEO Tomas Nicolin won the category Pension Fund Officer of the Year, with the following reasons behind his nomination:
“Professional and thorough in his approach to investment. He has led recent reviews of asset allocation allocation, and consultants believe he is more clued up on investment issues than most Swedish pension fund managers.”
AP3 was also nominated for the award European Pension Scheme of the Year. The Norwegian Petroleum Fund won this category.
