Stewardship Report 2026

AP3’s Stewardship Report 2026 presents the Fund’s active ownership activities during the year. The report describes how AP3 uses engagement, voting, and collaboration to influence companies in the Fund’s focus areas in an increasingly complex global environment. 

During the year, AP3 conducted engagements with hundreds of companies on climate, biodiversity, human rights, and corporate governance, both through its own stewardship activities and through the Council on Ethics of the AP Funds. The report summarizes activities, outcomes, and priorities for the period from July 2025 to June 2026.

About AP3 

The Third Swedish National Pension Fund (AP3) is one of three buffer funds within Sweden’s national income pension system. The Fund has been entrusted by the Swedish Parliament with managing its assets to provide the greatest possible benefit to current and future pensioners. As of June 30, 2026, the Fund managed SEK 891.0 billion in assets, and its return amounted to 7.6 percent after costs.
